Tater, that is a very easy trommel to build on your own. How do I know?
I made one myself, and once ya get the materials together it's a snap.

Here's the complete set of plans/instruction for the design (found online):

Mike's Hand Trommel

Only real changes I made were using 1-1/4" Sched. 40 PVC instead of 1", making
it stronger and more stable. Made mine with 1/2" construction screen, and also
have a 1/4" and 1/8" screen that will fit right over the 1/2" and is secured with
3 small bungee cords.

I also used a PVC tub as the hopper, and all I did was cut one side open. Leave the
top edge for strength, and then fold that cut flap down..using it as a "slide" into
the trommel.

Only thing I didn't do (and wish I had) was correct the back-angle on the front legs
before it was glued up.

Figured the best way to secure the screen's edges was to "sew" them with
wire, making it a super strong bond.

Zip ties are faster and stronger than wire sewing...otherwise really good work :)
