Had just started going to some of my Tuesday branch dump & pickup branches, at one dump branch I had emptied my loose dimes & halves and then clear out any of my dirt debris out of the reject bin. As I was dropping my dirt etc in the small trash can next to the coin counter I saw a small stack of coins at the bottom. In it were washers, elec slugs, foreign coins, and YES, this 1845 LARGE CENT. Somebody thought that this was a foreign coin etc., it's in G-VG condition, they dumped it in the machine, and eventually it found its way into the inner reject tray. Just goes to show, ask where ever possible, for tellers to save you the contents of the inner reject bin, regardless of how much dirt is in there, you can always wash your hands.
