Like the old scouts, bodies were bad & mechanics weren't that great but I
still liked the looks of them. Short wheel base made them good off road in
the woods with 4WD. Look at the prices on those old Scouts today, most
decent ones cost more now than they did new.

My..MD auto is a 1998 Suzuki X 90 4WD. Only made them 96--97 and 98 small but that 4x4 in that X 90 will take you any place. ==Jim==

When I was going through my divorce I had to cut back on spending. I bought an old Scout that was all rusted, ran like a top, and that thing would go anywhere. But it was ugly as all get out. My soon to be ex lived across the street from Brad Pitts brothers family. I never will forget the first time that I went to pick up my son. I drove that old Scout into the neighborhood and Doug Pitt (Brads brother) was playing in the front yard with his two children. Upon seeing the beast coming down the street he scooped up his children and ran into the house. I could see him pulling back the shades to see what lowlife had infiltrated his neighborhood.
