May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
~Irish Blessing

Go n-Ă©irĂ an bĂłthar leat
Go raibh an ghaoth go brách ag do chúl
Go lonraí an ghrian go te ar d’aghaidh
Go dtite an bháisteach go mín ar do pháirceanna
Agus go mbuailimid le chéile arís,
Go gcoinní Dia i mbos A láimhe thú.

(BTW, that's in Irish and translates to:
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.)

Red Skelton always ended his tv shows with the line
"Goodnight Mrs. McGillicutty wherever you are."

Must have been important in his life but I do not know.

I saw him once, walking in downtown Pittsburgh. I didn't really think it could be him until I heard on the news he was over in Ohio and had come to Pittsburgh that afternoon to visit a favorite lunch spot.

Discrepancies between what is and what should be come about in four different ways, two of which can combine to form a fifth.

I was told this by an old man many years ago out in the deserts of Nevada He had a flat tire, and I changed it for him. He had long
hair and finger nails. I kind of wondered how he could be driving a $150,000 car. Anyway he offered me a million dollars or a bit of
wisdom, for changing his tire. I said I would take the wisdom, so he told me the above. I never did find out who he was.

And, I was not as think, as you drunk I was. Have a great week end....Roadquest

Old Dog, I think it was in the early 70s. Getting old, memory is going. Anyway, I had picked up
a hitchhiker a littler before that. He helped me change the tire. Fellow said his name was Clifford Irving.
He said he may write a book about it. You know, Old Dog anybody never knows who they are going
to meet out there. ;D
