iron oven peel

Didnt know much about peels till i dug this next to a cellar hole today,i thought it was a regular shovel then i saw the fancy handle.Standing there imaging this was used in this oven,i dont know how this ended up in the ground.Sorry about the pictures it was hard to get the whole thing in,it measures 42 inches long.
