Sorry first time posting. I used voice to text and didn’t check my grammar: the beach is man made and is clay. Found at low tide. Thanks for looking and any input.

Long nose, long chin ???? Could be damage ?? Congrats and welcome to t-net

Looks like a token .. What does the back look like?

Here is the reverse- I found other old coins in this spot but not this old.

Very nice!! I’d love to find one of those and it’s unusual. Welcome buddy.

Welcome to tnet.. I think it's a 1843 large cent that someone carved on to make her look like that.... very cool find.. like trench art!

I don't think it is the real deal. Compared to another 1843 large cent, the nose and chin are too long, Also the date on a good one is almost centered on the lower left side of the bust. It may have been counterfeit. It would still be a cool find.

Someone took her nose off on this one.

I think it's real buddy... Just someone messing with her face.

Congrats - yes real - hit that area hard and slow - that is how they come out a lot of the times from beach
these are as found from salt water spot

C2 knows what he’s talking about.

It’s a large cent. Congrats on the nice find.

When I first saw it and said I thought it might be a token, this is what I had in mind.
