We only got a dusting here in Midland but still have some old snow in spots. Getting cold tonight so the ground may freeze also. Cliff

in Beaverton now for easter, about 15 minutes from clare and still about 3" on the ground so not much chance for digging

Thanks guys for the reports. I'll just have to wait for all our snow to melt ..

..away down here in Jackson. We got about 6 inches or more. What a pain. Guess I'll keep on researching and getting permission.

In Isabella county I'd say in open areas there is still a lot of patchy snow. Wooded areas and north sloping areas still have about a foot. 95% of the ground is undiggable around here, and schoolyars that were trampled all winter still have an ice pack. Maybe this next weekend, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. We need a night where it stays above freezing, with some rain. The wait is torturing me!!!!! >:( :'(
