" IS THIS 1920 RAYNES AUSTRALIAN PENNY" and todays finds

Hi all , Was cleaning my finds from today, which was a 1920 penny and this ornate button. Both were found in the area i mded late last year called Shallow creek. This spot i found lots of coins and relics. All seemed a little of nothing until i googled a few pennies i have found in the last few weeks, then i goggled 1920 Australian penny these to sites came up.

http://www.triton.vg/raynes.html

http://www.thesandpit.net/1920penny/dot_above.html

All every interesting ,then i noticed a small dot above the lower scoll and the dot is next too a bit of green muck.So i tried removing it with a toothpick and i could feel that it was a rise.So for the last 4 hours i have done my best to try and be realistic about the whole matter.I don,t know if it is a Raynes for sure but i,m some what lost for words.May be you can help.Don,t worry i,m wishing like hell. Also found this really neat ornate button or pin too.

                                tinpan What ,I don,t Know

Hi all, went to see aperson about the coin and the out come was as i feared.IT,s just copper junk with a pit rise above the lower scoll. >:( >:( >:(
From now on if i find any of these coppers that are no in good pick or a key date ,i going to throw as far as i can and those english Victorian coppers too.i find lots of them ,there no worth any effort at all.

tinpan, better keep hunting for something worth while. ;D

As they say Tinpan "it never rains but pours"

Bad luck that its not a super rare penny but you did better than my last hunt - one 1961 penny in six hours all the time accompanied by the smell of two dead foxes hanging on the fence nearby.
