I found this ring Tuesday at the beach. Marked and acid tested 14K, diamonds tested real at zales. Marked 14k ZEI (rosy blue jewelry) also has A1172711 on the inside of the band. Is the A1172711 a certification number for the stones? I contacted rosy blue and the were no help. Wanted to know where I purchased it from, I told them I found it metal detecting and have received no response. If it is a certification number I would like to get a copy of it for my records, I’m hoping that someone can help me out. The numbers are not etched in the band of the stone.

I'm going to say serial number, seems Rosy Blue Jewelry Inc. has a lot of trademarks, finding anything out about the ring could lead to finding the person who purchased it.

No doubt a Beauty!

more likely a serial number that would match a microscopic laser engraved serial number on the outer edge of the center stone

They put it under a microscope at zales, there were no etchings on the band of the stone.

That is a sweet ring. Sorry I can't help on the mysterious letter/numbers.
