Got a box of $25 worth of pennies today from the bank. Searched through $15 so far and I have only gotten 2 wheats. Oldest being 1946. Then i stumbled upon this penny. I am no Coin Error expert, at the time, I was just looking for wheaties to go in my binder. Never thought I would come across such a weird coin. I do not believe it is an error, but I am posting this just incase. The D under the year is all shiny and stuff like a quarter. The I in liberty is also shiny and you can see the lines go around lincolns head as well. The 6 is also shiny like a quarter by the way.

What do you guys think? Do you think its an error? I have no idea, so thats why I am not all excited about it. lol

Unfortunately DF this is not an error. Rather it is some type of mechanical damage. Sorry bro.

This usually happens when they are machine rolled. Generally the coin on the end of the roll will be damaged like that.
