Without further information (hardness, density, etc..) it's hard to go by pictures. Does it look like an emerald? Sure Dose it look like ever other green hue stone to include glass? Yes.

My suggestion is to bring it to a jeweler if you haven't done so. The stone is pretty damage on it's table and pavilion.
