Is this a fossil?

Hi everyone looking forward to getting some insight on my collection of fossils and artifacts. What do you make of this piece, is it a fossilized bone?

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Nikileec! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). it just might be then, there are a select few minerals that have the same effect but chances are you have a fossil

I doubt it’s bone I think the little oval thing you highlighted IS as fossil of a marine creature, I see others, makes me think the rest is a limestone matrix
