Is this a meteorite? Help!

My friend has a bunch of land, wants to hunt for meteorites. I lent him my ATPro, and when I was showing him how to use it we tested this rock he found in one of his fields.

I was using pro mode, no disc, but it doesn't register at all. The machine doesn't even know it's there, no signal. Even my ProPointer has no reaction. The rock is extremely heavy and is very magnetic. Anybody know what it could be?

I've only found iron meteorites so I don't know much. How can it be magnetic and not show up on the detector?
