its a piece of cosh. flint thats been worked on some, youll find alot of pieces like that...

That's one of the things that had me stummped..it looks like a piece of flint but some parts just look like a rock. But it totally looks like it has been worked a little... thanks again guys

I am not here to argue, I personally see no signs of knapping from pictures posted. when I lived in Mo, I found tens of thousands of pieces that looked like that piece.....could just be the picture......

I agree with Pickaway, its been worked on at some time. But, its prolly just a piece discarded.

No ones arguing Tresure hunter, just stating our opinions, as we see it. Thats what this forum is for.

I just meant I wasn't trying to argue that I was right, only what I know from my experience.
