I think this is an Adena Blade. It's not my find, but a friend of mine found it not too long ago, and he doesn't know the type. He found it in what I would call a primarily Woodland to Mississippian site. The piece is about 4" long by 1 1/2" wide at it's widest point. Would you call it an Adena Blade?

No, it's a Bi Pointed Knife or a Willow Leaf Blade and is more than likely Woodland in culture.

Here's one I found on a Middle to Late Woodland site (Hopewell) I hunt that is similar to that one. (though I think mines a little nicer) lol

Very nice bi-point. I, too, like that material--actually the material of the first pictured--as well. Flint, Isn't it?

Rtfact59 welcome--glad to see you stayed.

Dorkfish, I always liked that blade. Hope all is well. I have found little since I meet ya at Ripley. A few things but, nothing too great. Take Care.
