Take it to a rock shop , they can tell if it is petrified wood.

PA, The top one looks like a hematite total replacment of wood, it looks like there might be some crystal action going on on the surface. So yeah it classiefied as p-wood. can you do a better picture of the bottom stone? Can you see growth rings?
