island treasure site?

dear, fellow TH i need help ,and your experty on these kind of site it's on the ocean side ,we can only operate during low tide so far we are about 12 ft. deep , but first we dug about 2 ft. of sand, and about 5 ft.of black stick mud and then a layer of rock mix with sand , and then 3 ft. of green mud,and then a layer of rock again mix with yellow sand,and now we have a big rock about 6 ft. x8 ft.but the height we do not know yetit was buried to another green mud sticky , and oily we try to lift it up ,with a chain block ,but the thing don't even move is any one have know,or exp. about this any info would be greatly appreiciated thanks Ed

Try running a search on "Oak Island" on Google or Yahoo Search. That might give you a very good idea what "not" to do when digging holes on a possible treasure laden island area. :)

Using your measurements it weighs more than three thousand pounds. Did the come along you were using have an anchor point that could budge that? Also - the mud creates a suction that can equal the weight of the object you are moving.

Is this a dredging project in California? I remember you posted a similar situation last Summer in thailand.
