Excited to find this today, but it broke when I was washing the mud out of it. I'm guessing it was some type of jewelry piece. The 2nd item? I have no idea. The pics show the front, the back, and the bottom. It is a tiny piece about the size of the tip of my pinky finger. Found in very shallow rock bank in NW Georgia creek.

oddly enough I think those are natural accumulations around an existing harder object. notice the bands of material on the top left piece.

unclemac I see what you mean. That is interesting. The right side was broken off, but the rest of it was identical on each half and had the very square depression in the middle. Yesterday a perfectly round rock, today this. I love visiting our creek each day.

The 2nd is most certainly natural-likely a concretion of some sort. Not a bead or jewelry. The first may be a clay item-but not Native American. It could also be natural-which is what I am leaning towards. Interesting either way......
