I went to one of my pick up bank located inside a supermarket to see if my order of halves arrived. They told me that it might take another week. Since I was already there, I asked if they had any halves laying around. Teller says yes, one of our tellers have $130 worth. Took all of it. Got in my car and noticed some of the CWR had the markings KS. Opened one and it looked like this.........

Went back right away and asked if any of the other teller's coins had any markings similar to the ones that they just gave me. Teller said the lady that had the coins already cashed out and I have to come back tomorrow. I went back in my car and opened the rest of the rolls........ Total is 140 90% all 1964 Kennedy halves most are in uncirculated condition and 3 40% from the other rolls. BEST EVER! I'll be back tomorrow!

Great•Great•find. Some customer must have been shopping with a purse load of halves. Nice, very nice. I'm so jealous that it makes me want to get out of this HOSPITAL bed and go shopping at my local Wal-Mart or Target and buy something at every cash register that is open.

I once got a single solid roll of 1964 Kennedys and was floored.

You might as well retire, 7 SOLID rolls, WOW!

140 (90% silver halves) = 140 x 11.25gm/31.1 gm/oz = 50.6 ozs!!!

That's amazing. I wonder what the story is there. Maybe someone passed away and the heirs just cashed them in?

Now that is just awesome! Seems the only luck I get is the occasional war nickel and that's a stretch, lol.

Sweet cull of silver. What I find stranger about your score is not the fact that silver was rolled up and dumped at the bank, but rather it was recently rolled up. The paper rolls don't look old (implying that they were rolled up for some time and stashed in a closet only to be deposited at the bank by their heirs). It looks like they were recently rolled with fresh creases in the paper. Congrats on the score.
