It was a good day

You know they say to never turn your detector off until you are in the car heading down the road? Well today I am a believer. I found a nice axe head, flat button, some ? items and then as I headed to the car and was 6 feet away the bullets started slamming and there are still more hits that I could not dig. Weather was sunny, 70 degrees and on top of that it was not a bad day of finds. The weather was so great I would have been happy just being in the woods. I will be posting some of these to the ID HELP forum.

Great digs!! I know how you feel, one time I was heading toward the car leaving the park and I decided to swing up to the curb, about 2 feet from the curb I got a great reading, found a 12 coin spill, 10 silver, oldest being a SLQ.

Anyway your finds are hell of a lot older and a lot more historic. Congrats and HH
