I am very excited for you rock as already been said you paid your dues you deserve each and every piece you have found what are your thoughts on that black one ? And the brown one is a beauty boss congrats !!!!

Im thinking possible Paleo on the black one. The only thing is no flute but there is a stack rite where the flute should be it is a thick point.
The brown one I am thinking Adena Robbins.
The last one that is oval in shape I think is a Adena Blade.

I know it has a lot of stain on it that's for sure. Guess I will take this one to the show with my knife seeing I found them both in the same area.

Seriously rock it looks a lot like a Dalton square base to me.. Could be transitional paleo to early archaic.. At least that's what I would call it

Look up Dalton Colbert I think it is a fit. They had 3 examples and 1 looked spot on. Seeing it is more triangle in shape I believe it is a Dalton. Everyone wants a Paleo but I guess I will keep looking for one. Its still one of the oldest points I have found whole yet so I am not disappointed on it. I didn't get a pic of it with my phone before I picked it up cause it was hiding under a leaf with just the tip showing. I figured it was broken like so many I find. I really like that brown one better even though it isn't as old it is perfect not a ding on it. Thanks for the help everyone, rock

Yes it is. Do you agree on Adena Robbins on it? Or do you think Archaic.

Not sure where the material is from thought it was Jasper but I don't think so now. Has some stain on it so no telling what the original color would be. Thannks

Not sure how I missed this thread. Rock, impressive finds. The black piece must have been made early in the transition from Paleo to archaic. Has it been resharpened? Nice material on the stemmed point as well!!!

Thanks I have been busy looking. We got so much rain everything flooded even the fields which in turn washed away most of the junk. So I am looking while I can I don't know if they will plow this yr or not no till. On the point it is stained so its a toss up on ages for me to decide. Im not that good at it any how. I could have a few old ones in my frame and never even know it.
