It's the lil surprises

That's what keeps me coming back. The little surprise finds. They don't need to be
intrinsically of much value. Just that neat little surprise that causes me to smile.

Here's the take:

2014 (621).jpg
2014 (622).jpg

I think Fishy has a new friend. ;)

2014 (626).jpg

It has a battery!??! LOL Sure did make me smile though. :)

2014 (623).jpg

I think Blingy just went for big! :)

And here's another surprise. I want to say these are new drops of old
coins and maybe they are, but, three? In this place? In these shapes?
Strange.

Anyway, thanks for peeking!

Oh look out, Blingie's finally done it! His treasure eyes are bigger than his whole salamander body!!!!! Well at lest you will know where he is at all times! Lol! Fishy's found a new friend! It may take the 3 of them to carry Blingie's new treasure around!

Awesome finds! Great score on the 3 wheats! Looks like you had quite the quarter haul too, nice!

I had a pretty good day my self even tho no silver or gold. Scored a junk bling that Blingie would love, you could probable hypnotize him with it! I hope to post pics later today (hope I remember how lol).

The mermaid thingy puzzles me a bit. I don't think I'd ever seen one quite like it, (not that I was looking). But, a battery??? LOL

The 3 wheats, I can't make up my mind. Fresh drop? Three of them?? :dontknow:

Blingie is VERY easy to please. I'm sure he'd like ANY bling you'd find. LOL

Thanks!

Ya know, for me its the thrill of the find. It doesn't matter so much the coin, its the satisfaction of the find. I like to be surprised, pleasantly of course. But with the good comes the disappointments, you never know. Does anyone else agree?

I completely agree. Every time I go for my "walk", the very first keeper that comes out, be it a zincoln or some super old coin, button, jewelry, etc. I always say the same thing. "Treasure". I don't say it on the rest of the finds that day but that first one and I know I have treasure of some sort. Kind of reminds me of the pleasure of being out there.

Me too. I had a long hunt and found tons of clad yesterday. I found two Wheaties, 1942 & 44'. Those two little pennies made it a good overall hunting day.
