Tomato that is. What a whopper! :laughing7: That sucker is getting sliced for breakfast this morning. It could feed a nation.

CoilyGril what is you secret for growing these whoopers? Thanks for the post - bet it filled you up for the day's treasure hunt.

Wow! Usually I am jealous of some of the finds on the site. Now I have the urge for a toasted tomato sandwich. That is a honker.

Thanks for putting in that Walker for scale. It's what we understand on here;)

Great tomato! Sliced on bread with fresh mozzarella and a splash of vinegar and salt. Mmmmmm

CoilyGirl,

Great looking home grown tomato! Just think what the Nation is missing by not growing their own food, store bought tomato's are not worthwhile to eat. Keep up the search for "good stuff".............63bkpkr

Manure in the hole,Epsom salt, and Seven dust to keep the critters off of them. No treasure hunting today for us but hopefully tomorrow. I think I did misspell caliber.

CG, I enjoyed the "pun"ishment in your title. Beautiful piece of fruit, enjoy it heartily! (Mine are still green and not liking all the rain!) Sub 8-)

Tomatoes are THE best part of summer followed by fresh corn on the cob.
I don't waste my money on those awful store bought tomatoes. They cost too much and taste like nothing.

Congrats on that lunker.....
