Jap Soap Token & another token that needs an ID

The finds have been slow for me lately but found both of these tokens at an old homesite last evening. I found some information on google and believe the jap soap token dates in the teens or twenties. If you google it you can see what it is supposed to say. When I first dug it I thought it was another rose bush tag. I will have to do some electroysis to clean it up some. As for the other token, I can't find anything on this one. It is very thin and I wasn't sure if it was a game token or what. Not a lot of detail left on the design. Any help would be appreciated. I also found one of the nicest lantern bases I have found, this one having some gold color to it and the patent dates are 1859 and 1860. Also curious to know what the one item is that looks kinda like a wheel. Thanks for looking.

I believe the wheel thingy is a spin top.

If you sell the token on eBay, you'll have to call it something like "(Japanese) Rose Soap token". I listed a 1940s book entitled "How The Jap Army Fights", and eBay dropped the ad. I managed to relist it after renaming the ad "How The (Japanese) Army Fights". My picture of the book's front cover didn't get dumped, though.

Agreed: the "wheel" is part of a toy gyroscope top.

I believe that the unidentified token may actually be a play money coin, c. 1950's.

Interesting finds,We sure could use some rain.I seen your name as a sponsor for the united way bass tournament,we fished in it and took fourth out of 109 boats.I stuck a 5.35 ponder.Would of loved to bring it to you to mount but being a tournament you have to release them.

Sounds right, the token was only a few inches deep.

if you spend a few of those wheats you can buy a little newer version of the gyroscope, check out the link

You are correct. Wheats are about all I am finding these days.

Glad to hear they had that good of a turnout and congrats on getting in the top five. Impressive. Now about that fish story...ya know I have heard em all in my shop! Just kidding, that is a good fish to add to your weigh-in. Dirt fishing is about all I have been doing lately although I may get my boy out Friday to troll for some northern pike.
