Jasper/Agate/Petrified Wood???? Help!

Another gorgeous rock I believe came from Keenewah County, MI. It's been cut, not polished. Shown wet and one pic of the side dry. I'm hoping if I can identify it I will be able to figure out how to properly clean it.

I read about the jasper deposits they had to move to get to the iron ore deposits. No doubt, jasper is found up there. Gary

it would not be wrong to call that piece "jasperized wood"...pertrified wood is often jasper too.

Looks similar on one side, to moss agate.
