Jasper/Agate/Petrified Wood???? Help!

Another gorgeous rock I believe came from Keenewah County, MI. It's been cut, not polished. Shown wet and one pic of the side dry. I'm hoping if I can identify it I will be able to figure out how to properly clean it.

it would not be wrong to call that piece "jasperized wood"...pertrified wood is often jasper too.
