Jewelers Marks on vintage ring?

I dug this ring at an old school site. It came in sounding like a Quarter or Dime, so I don't believe its gold but yet it has an "18" as one of the Jewelers Marks. I'm trying to find out what the symbols mean and how old it is.

I think it's 18k gold plated silver. Excellent piece of jewelry.

it should be 18k gold unless someone faked it

do a google search for English hallmarks or ask one of the guys from UK that post here for help
I have found 9K - 18k and 22K rings from UK - probably have found like 10 of them

Might be plated. There were a lot of stamped fakes back in the day. Can we see a better pic of the top of the ring?
