I have saved all the gold I have found this year. So just want to share that this was my finds of gold jewelry this past year 2013 from yard sales. I think this is why I go yard sailing!

All 14k. The Figaro was $1. It was in with a box filled with junk. At the bottom. It was at the time a custom biker chain. It had steel rings with spikes every 4 inches put in it.

All 10k.

18k.
I've made it a habit to see the sterling and keep the yellow. All of it goes away in a couple weeks and I start over for 2014. This is my redneck savings account.

My wife wants me to sell it for wood floors in the house..... Undecided at this point!

Very nice. More than I found. Keep it if you can, I believe it will be going back up, but I can not tell you how soon or by how much. Only a fool or an arrogant SOB would try. If you could sell the sterling and have all your cash back in pocket, saving that...................gotta be as good as any 401k. Not bad for a red neck. Again, congratulations.

I'm always surprised how many people sell their gold in garage sales.I haven't found any 24K yet but I have found 10k & 14K(?),along with some silver.I haven't found any(gold) with my metal detector ,but I have found some silver rings and earings.

Very nice. You found more gold than I did, looks like. My yard sale gold weighed out to a measly 48 grams total, mostly 14k. My necklace weighs more than that. Did you weigh it all? I quit selling both gold and silver unless I can get at least double melt value or more. I'm in it for the long haul.

My wife lost a bracelet too, one morning while out at the garage sales. Was only 6-8 grams though. Note to self... concentrate on getting more gold this year!
