I didn't check out the site but if you want to get rid of that .Wordpress in the address here is a helpful link. I think you or the programmer probably installed the Wordpress site into a subdirectory on the server and not the "root" directory but it's an easy fix if you want to change it and have access to the File Transfer Protocol (FTP server).
