I've been having too much fun making these for an upcoming show Cripple Creek Turquoise! I have lots more feeders!
Ok, so it must be your local turquoise.I made these 3 years ago with junk from the junk pile, someone came into my store yesterday wanting more. I am about to make another batch, and a flower pot batch!!! They are fun to make! The local turquoise is fun to grind!

Yes there are a few tailing piles and a few alleys paved with the tailings. I have traded with people for some nice pieces. I love stone. Cripple Creek turquoise has a lot of impurity’s which are nice.
Yes, apparently people go into other peoples claims with backhoes and it is a hassle for the claim owners to sue. The boys and I are due for a bike ride through the roads around the claims we usually come home with a few keepers.I had an opportunity to mine a bit of amazonite (microcline) at Divide Co. a few years ago. another nice blue/green stone.
Is there still a lot of claim jumping there?

Lots of places I used to go now are claimed up, but there is a lot of country that needs to be checked out. That Amazonite can be found all through the Tarryall range. You sure did a nice job setting that one!
