I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. It's not necessary that I dive as I will be able to dive with Scott in the future. It would be good to let all the other people comming in from out of town get the most dives in that they can. I'll be able to give a hand topside wherever it's needed. You guys that are comming in are in for a treat.

PS: It looks like the seas are laying down and the vis is getting better. High tide was at 6:17this morning.

I would like to go with Riobravo on Friday if you have a
dive planned for that day. I think Robert said he was going
with you. As I said I will be in Fort Pierce on Thursday in
the afternoon. If anyone need some help with mobeing their
boats give me a call (904) 588-4493. I lived on a boat for
30 years and commercial fished (hint).

I am planning on staying with Robert and the gang at the
Inn. He gave me a thumbs down on the pink spandex.

Riobravo? Do you have any Hooka gear on your boat (as I am
not bringing any tanks with me)? All my tanks are out of test
at the present. I do plan on bringing some commercial hats
which I hope we can match up the fittings to fit your gear.
Mine are standard 9/16-18 oxygen fittings. Are any of your
hose rigs set up for com? I could bring a short (125 foot) rig
and my com box. It just needs a 12 volt battery. Then you all
can talk to the boat on the surface.

This is what used to be called "A HAPPENING".
I do not recall so many Treasure Hunters being in one place at one time.
I hope someone records this EVENT on video and takes a lot of pictures.
I will be on the West Coast doing my thing.
I wish everyone a Great Time and success.

Not sure who is bringing what, but I will document all that I can while we are working and playing. I'm bringing my Nikon digital point and shoot that does photos and video, and the underwater housing for it of course. The metal detector will take precedence over the camera, but I will likely hop in and free dive down for underwater photos and videos of everyone doing the shallow work. I'll probably have it with me on every dive, in case we need to document the layout of the gold bars or anything. :D

I'm finding it hard to concentrate on work today...I wonder why??

I'm in. The Jupiter Inn only has the high $$$ suites left so I'll be slumming it at the La Quinta. I plan on being there Thurs. evening. Anyone between NC and Jupiter desiring a ride let me know.

Other than scuba gear what can I bring?

I look forward to meeting you all.

Tom, Chagy is bringing his wife.

Sounds like there are two expeditions here, so help me clarify the plans. Seahunter and Rio both will be diving on Sat and Sun. But Rio will take an early trip for diving on Friday? Is that the scoop? I think this is what I've gathered through Robert, Dick and others. Chagy and I would like to join in on Friday, too, if the plans are open.

Awesome. awesome. What memories will occur this weekend? ;D

Godspeed!
Darren

Looks like Scott started without us, he's probably just locating the treasure beds so he can put us right on them....right Scott? :P See you Friday! Darren, I think Scott may be planning on going out Friday also, and weather permitting we may go out monday also, I don't fly until after 5:00pm so I'd be up for a morning dive or two, or maybe go to a museum. Rio is definitely going out Friday though, I won't land until 5:00 so I'll have to miss Friday :( Same me some will ya?

Look at this water, I can hardly stand it.......

CORRECTION

All of my previous posts mentioning Fort Pierce should be changed
to Jupiter. I don't know what I was thinking of, my mistake.

Maybe thinking when wearing the spandex is a bad combination. They
do fit a little tight. Oh well

Can't wait to hear more Joseph, I'm guessing the Bravo might need to work a little further out....15 feet sounds kinda shallow. On the up side, if I happened to get stranded on a man made sand bar....and couldn't return to the duldrums of my day job...I wouldn't complain all that loudly ;)
