Hey guys! It's me again, I posted here back in December when I obtained a Minelab Excal for my birthday. I asked questions then and have retained most of it, and soon I'll be ready to hit the beaches here, weather permitting. For those of you who hunt freshwater (or does it even matter?), what settings are you using on the Excal? I'd like to discriminate out iron, and dig anything foil and up. LEt me know what settings you use on all knobs so that I don't have to drive myself crazy! lol, thanks guys (and girls).

Bruce,

Thanks for the help, guys!

Tesoro. Minelab. Fisher.
If you are detecting on sand, use it on all metal mode.
Or on Disc. with the discrimination set at 1.
Let us know what your finds are.
