Went out detecting for a couple of hours and as always nothing good for the first 4 hrs. Iโm tired at this point because of the heat so Iโm ready to call it quits. I decided to detect a little slope with some loose dirt before I left and was rewarded with a shield nickel within 5 minutes. The nickel is quite worn so I canโt see a year but itโs my oldest coin to date so Iโm very happy. After finding the nickel I felt a little recharged so decided to stick around for a bit longer. About fifteen minutes later I get an iffy signal on the 800 thatโs bouncing all over the place. Once again I decided this would be my last target so I dig about ten inches down and see the edge of the coin. I grab it right away to see what my reward was for digging another poopoo signal. To my surprise it was a 1897 O Barber quarter I really need to start getting in the habit of digging these signals because they seem to be treating me good. Anyways thanks for looking and Happy Hunting.
