After the pontil jar I found the other day I was chomping at the bit to get back down to the ink hole. After removing some good sized boulders and broken mill stones I was in business. I have never had this much luck before finding pontil era bottles even though most are slicks and damaged. I did manage a couple embossed ones. A oppodledoc liquid any one know what that is? And a very whittled a Richards Co glue cement. I also found a nice Florida water this is the only large sized one I have ever found with an applied lip. All and all it was an awesome dig. Thanks for looking and the help- Justin

Wow!!!! I would love to get into something that old. Love the pontils. I hope you are checking with your detector. Or screening too!!!. I have had excellent luck checking after it rains in my old bottle digs!! HH

That's a nice spot you have there Justin. Great to have a chance at the pontiled stuff.

You are in Pontil heaven, keep em coming, there's gotta be more there.

[emoji106] Wow what a great spot for digging. The sky is the limit in this area. Sorry about the broken ones. The Florida Water is neat. What size is it?

So much potential. Cool stuff.

I just got from doing a little more digging with not much luck but o found some really interesting shards. Any ideas on the lip? It looks like an early case him. Then the pontil piece I have no clue.

Thanks everyone I couldn't be happier. And bass the Florida water is nine inches tall.

That would have been a killer bottle if whole, but them case gins must have bulls eyes on them for they are not small bottles and I would think they are hard to find unbroken. More to follow, I am sure

Very cool finds! Congratulations. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Holy smokes...

You had a really great dig! These are all so beautiful. I think that last 12 sided slick is my favourite though.

Awesome.

Thanks dude. I like these 12 sided bottles too. This is the second one I've found in the 4 years I have been digging glass.
