Hi guys,
I just got my land ranger pro.
I have not metal detected since the 1960's in high school.
Back then I had a Myty Mite detector, and it was really good for coins.
Anyway, when using my new land ranger pro, where exactly under the coil is the item located ?
is there a marking that it will be located under ?

thanks,

Directly under the screw that goes thru the coil ears.

This will also depend on how accurately you pinpoint your target.

Throw a coin on the ground and and check for yourself. Sweep over it at about 4 inches above the target and the hit the pin point button and then put a colored dot on your coil where it gives you the highest tone and least depth.
