I just wanted to introduce myself. I just joined treasurenet.com after ordering a Fisher F5 a couple days ago - should be arriving in a few days. Previous to this I'd been using on occasion a Nextech [The Source] metal detector [under $100] that my wife gave me a few years back.

I've been an Oak Island enthusiast for the past few years - my wife, kids and I had the tour in July 2015 and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoy watching the History Channel's "The Curse of Oak Island". We also enjoy laughing at the reality show / narrator hype :)

I look forward to searching out the beaches of PEI in the spring, maybe finding the occasional item of interest and getting a lot of metallic litter in the appropriate blue bag.

Welcome. I'm from Nova Scotia. I wouldn't only focus on the beaches come spring because you have lots of great history there and endless old fields and spots to hit up. Old coins and relics galore to find! [emoji2]
