Not real sure what everybody uses for headphones but I got spoiled on a pair of koss phones which came with my explorer. They went by the way side a long time ago and the only reason I did not replace them was they did not have a volume control on the phones thenselves. While internet shopping I found some Koss headphones(QZ5) which were on both sides of a hundred dollars in the two places I looked, but after searching harder I found Provantage and bought a pair of QZ5 headphones for less than 40 dollars after shipping and can say that it was one of my better purchases. These are great headphones with volume control and just let me say that if you are hunting in some of the less desirable areas do not use these headphones cause you can not hear anything other than your detector.......anyway, I thought maybe some other folks would like to check them out........HH all.........gregd573
