That's a lovely picture Old dog. Is it a hummingbird? I have heard so much about them, wish they would migrate to the UK, but too cold for them I suppose.

Yes, that is a very young Ruby Throated Hummer. The sun was at the wrong angle and most of what I got was shadow.
I felt pretty lucky just to have caught him as they usually don't stop.
Especially when defending a trumpet vine of this size.
