Keeping a daily log of my C.R.H/Detector finds...

Today I picked up a full sealed box of dimes ($250.00). I decided today that I wanted to join in on the fun of a daily log of my finds. I come here almost everyday browsing and reading everyone's finds and drool. I just started doing this CRH'n a few weeks ago and have posted a couple threads with certain questions and finds that i had questions with. I have a regular flow of two banks and my credit union has been awsome at getting me boxes of coins and will even hold an extra box for me till after I go through the first one and dump and return for it! So starting today I got a box (Tuesdays) the rest of the days of the week will be mostly consisting of CWR/MWR that I pick up around town. Hopefully starting next week I will get two boxes of coins Tues and Thurs and I plan on rotating each denomination each week. Not to mention I will try and post pic's of detector coin finds! Got a new camera still need to get a cord to transfer pics. Let's see what happens!

That was a good first box. They stopped minting halves for circulation in 2001. The U.S. Mint continues to mint halves today but since 2001 halves have been NIFC (not intended for circulation) and the mint only sells them as collectable coins for a premium price.

So today I stopped in at one of my local banks and was able to pick up some rolls
5 x CWR of Halves = 1 x 1968 (D)


6 x CWR Nickels = 2 x 1941 (d),(p) non silver
1 x 1948 (p)
2 x 1959 (d)

14 x MWR Nickels = 1 x 1949 (p)
1 x 1952 (p)
1 x 1954 (p)
1 x 1957 (p)
1 x 1958 (d)
2 x 1959 (d), (p)

Picked up 7 cwr of dimes = SKUNK!
I also picked up some pennies but ill sort them as time goes.. Pennies im extra careful with. So many varieties and ddo's etc....

What exactly do you mean. If they have an S then they are proofs for that year.

Found out today that 2 of the 4 banks I use, can no longer order half dollar wrappers! I have not asked the other two. But seeings that we are 100 miles from Phoenix.. I don't think the other banks use another armor company. From what i found out.. it is Brinks who services this town and who is no long providing them for my banks.
