Your Kentucky button's dollar-value greatly depends on whether it was manufactured before or after the end of the civil war. To answer that question with certainty, we button-collectors rely on the button's backmark (maker's-mark). Also, minor details in the emblem on the button's front can be very important. So, we need to see well-focused CLOSEUP photos of your button's front and back, and your best guess about EXACTLY what the maker's-mark on your button's back says.
