Today, 1906 house and a city field behind an old livery, and 4 hours equals:

buckle 1.jpg

Nifty art decco lipstick. New York and Paris. Richard Hudnut Distributor.

Great little green tarnished buckle behind the livery.

Nifty earring Michal Golan it says. Costume? It seems pewter.

9 Wheats, and a $1.76 in clad too.

Rusty old wagon wheel from a toy? Some rusty horse thing, heart-ish shaped.

A MANGLED EAGLE/SHIELD "e pluribus unum" tin seeming old military buckle,
with a rectangular slot on one side and a broken? catch on the other side, back.

OH. A SWEET 1914D Barber Dime in Extra Fine shape!!!

I'd love to find that buckle! Might be a good one to have restored.

I agree! I would have that restored by Roland Frodigh, he does amazing work and is able to join the pieces seamlessly and keep it looking like a dug relic.

Awesome buckle!

If this is a Union item that's interesting, as this popped out of the dirt behind a livery stable in downtown Lexington, Virginia.
Hey Bud, I'm about 40 minutes north of you and work in the town often. Beautiful place. In June of 1864 General Hunter and about 18000 Union troops occupied Lexington and burned part of VMI so it's not surprising that Union relics are there.
