kindagettin'married in Kentucky

Best wishes, perhaps prayers going out to kindafoundabuckle! I certainly feel for his bride to be!

Buckleboy (Best Man), hope you're not late like you were for that funeral you performed at a few weeks ago ;D

Best wishes to our good friend Tom Wilcox and his bride to be. I propose a toast.....

Re: kindagettin'married in Kentucky

Thank you for the kind words and the thought. For those who would like to send a gift Im registered at Mikes Metal Detectors in Georgetown Indiana!!! ;D There are a lot of things a newly married couple needs and a Tesoro Cortes is one of them. Once again thanks for the time you took to make a post Jamie. Your a good man no matter what all the people say about ya.

Shackle time.

Might be better off just getting a dog for a best friend like my pal Luke in the avatar.

No seriously, every man needs a wife. Someone has to take the dogs out LOL.

Just call me "kindabeenmarried for 18 years on April 1st".

All kidding aside, I hope you have a wonderful and joyful marriage.

Marriages are something that has been taken way to lightly over the past 30 years. Separations and divorces are too easy and are basically a cop out for folks that didn't date long enough to find a true mate.

As a guy, I'm tempted to try the greener pastures, but I love my wife more than anything in the world. I wouldn't want to do anything that would cause me to lose her. And daggone it no matter how mad she makes me or I make her, I know we'll be there for each other. BTW, I truly believe attending church together helps too.

Other advice...dogs are cheaper than raising children. ;)

Anybody else want the soapbox?

Wish you all the best!Sometimes those Kentucky hill marriages get a little lively, especially if there's a shotgun in the crowd.Down here in the Qzarks, they warn 'bout marryin' outside the family.I hope you and yours have a long and great life together.Congratulations!

Making this step is the beginning of a union that only time can tell how great it really is. You hear this and that but the truth is it can be as great as you want it to be.

Congratulations from both of us and enjoy a happy life together.

Yeah, it was all fun and games at the wedding until I told him I had my detector in the trunk of my car. From the look in his eye I thought his new name might be "Kindathoughtaboutskippingmyweddingtogometaldetectin" All you had to say was "let's go" and I'd have changed as fast as superman in a phone booth, dude! Think of all the silver coins we coulda found! I think your new name should be "Wouldafoundasilvercoinbutgotmarriedinstead." Hey, at least you'll be able to tell where you've already been when we go diggin. I'm sure that ball and chain leaves a nasty rut in the ground ;D

Re: kindagettin'married in Kentucky

Thanks for all of the nice comments. We stayed at the Hyatt Sat night downtown. We had a room on the 16th floor, river view, this room had it all..........including internet on the TV! She went into the bathroom to get ready for the "main event" she came out and I was on Tnet looking at todays finds!!!! She turned my internet off and hid the remote. You see what she has to put up with! Im a lucky man. That poor women. Sun morning I was on Ebay looking for a used Fisher. The remote is now permanently lodged in a cavity of my body I would rather not talk about.

CONGRATS Tom, met her at the TH convention, you have a good woman there......... Now you may, or may not want to try this, I didnt, and I kick myself everyday for not doing it, but my GrandPap told me that if you get you a short piece of Logging chain, bout 2ft long, and just whupp the pee out of em for about a week, after that all you have to do is SHAKE IT, and they will hop to it...... Now like I said, I didnt have the guts to try it, but I think you could get away with it.................. NOT, hahahahahaha... but Seriously, Congrats....

Buckle,

Congratulations. I have been married 9 years now and have one on the way. Getting married was the best thing that I could have done. My wife gives me a pat on the back when I need it....and a kick in the pants when I need that too. Please post a pic of the happy couple.
Best of luck to you and your new bride.

Yeah, I know. It's easy to do... Until you notice that one of us has found CW buckles and plates, and the other has not.
