King's Mountain remains.****

I saw a TV show last night about the Revolutionary War battle between Loyalist and freedom fighters. A great many loyalist were killed. As stated in the presentation, the bodies were just covered up with leaves and brush and left to decay. I was wondering if anyone has looked at this site or if it is now some sort of preserved area. Yes, King's Mountain is a national park and strictly off limits to us. Also, the bodies have never been found, they were probably scattered about by wolves, coyotes and such. I went to Cowpens, that too, is off limits.
