I'm seeing a reindeer engraved on the sheath. That and the shape of the end of the sheath indicates a knife from the Sami Peoples region of Norway, Sweden and Finland, sometimes known as Lapland.

And the material is likely reindeer bone, not ivory. It can be called a Puukko knife. Do a Wikipedia search on that name and you'll see some information about it.

I think Curious the George nailed with a great ID. that's a really cool knife. should be worth something but I wouldn't have a clue as to how much.
