That is a nice old artifact :icon_thumright: and you can see it is well used :wink:. That is a interesting piece ??? look's like it has some good flaking on it ;D. Steve is that the cortex that I see on one side :dontknow: ? Good find Steve :icon_thumleft:. Thanks for posting.

yes i think it is the cortex also
it has so much patination on it that it would have to be that a way

That is a very interesting piece with all the built up patina on it, look's like it has been around a while and could prob tell a story or two. in the third photo it look's like it is a fairly thin piece. Those are the type's of piece's that I like to just look at and study, you can just look at it and see it has had a lot of use. Very interesting Steve.

Great looking Knife Steve. If you got that much rain I bet the artifacts will laying out everywhere for you once it dries out a little.
