Found this Saturday. It says Knights of Pythias and esto perpetua (latin for let it be perpetual) in the center. I have figured out that it is part of a badge but looking for a time frame. If I'm reading correctly its 1874 but not sure if that was the only year this badge was made.
There was quite a thread on K of P a couple of years ago. They were a Lodge like Elk or Eagles or I.O.O.F. Active at least from Civil War to early 20th Century. Might do search here for that thread. Looks like right time period. Nice find and good luck.
Appreciate the info. My son and I only had about 20 minutes to poke around at this site. Really excited about going back now. Interesting read on the old thread.
