I'll take one apart and see what we got.....maybe lol

edit: looks like it takes a 1/16 allen set wrench on my Compadre, the set screw is 1/8" in diameter

it is for a knob that fits a 1/4" shaft

Use to go by Radio Shack but they are long gone.

How about a cellphone repair store? TV shops are long gone too lol...

Well there's also thread pitch and threads per inch depending on metric or SAE.
Like 1/4 can be 1/4-20 or 1/4-24.
Best bet if you find a store with the 1/8 just buy some of each.

Might try a musical instrument shop.
Might have a knob or even a grub screw that would fit

not all the same..

Just so you guys know.. The hex can be different sizes on different age Tesoros.
Guessing that the newer and current ones are metric, and older ones fractional. I always have to go through my Allen wrenches to find the ones that fit on whichever knob I'm working with. I have a couple Tesoros that have had one or two of their knobs replaced, so I may need a couple different Allen wrenches on the same detector.
Some ages of knobs are a little longer or shorter, too. No big deal, as the knobs look about the same.
