Found all this in an hour. Then nothing the last three. Can anyone tell me the age of the harmonica reed? Found two enfields right on top of the ground.

Looks like your were hunting in some SOUP!

It looks as if your AT shaft sunk into the muck! Haha

If you found the reed in close proximity to the Enfields, I'd say you could accurately assume it is of the same period, 1860s-70s.

It is to my understanding that harmonica reeds are much like horseshoes... Not a lot of changes thru the course of existence.

Nice war era finds.
