Hi Larry,
Check this out... http://www.lulu.com/content/188001

The story of the train wreck at Glenbrook is in this book. I know cause I am the author. Great story, plus if you are in the Tahoe area this book covers several other lost, buried and sunken treasures in the region, along with ghost towns and lost mines in the Tahoe area. The book covers all surrounding counties for both Calif. & Nevada. Hopes this helps. By the way the cover image shows employees of the Carson Tahoe Lumber & Fluming Co. posed on the railroad tracks of the Lake Tahoe Railroad & Transportation Co. In March, 1891 the L.T. Ry. & T. Co. #1, called the Glenbrook derailed not far from where that photo was taken. A stronbox containing 500 double eagles and 200 eagles
which was the payroll for all 4 Glenbrook mills went into the lake and has never been recovered. Let me known what you think of the book! Enjoy.
