Hello all

I have recently acquired this ring, it is set with a Lapis stone…from what I have read lapis which is of a solid dark(ish) colour with tiny golden specks (fool’s gold) and very little or no solidate is said to be of a good quality….

The band is marked .925 and the carb is surrounded with tiny silver balls and what looks like brass/copper (or something else?) hearts at either side.

I have been trying to find some info in this ring, so far coming up with nothing!

The person from whom this ring had been acquired had said she had it from the late 60’s and when she got it, it was brought from an antique store from the East Coast, US…..

I asked the opinion on the ring recently, and they told me that they believed it was a very recent piece of jewellery, from the early 1990’s or so!!

Gosh, it is such a mystery!!

What are your opinions? Suggestions on the age, and style of this ring? I would be ever so grateful for your feedback!!

Thank you in advance!

Honestly its market value is average. 1960's sterling small lapis..nothing like the queen jewels.

However beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

I'd be willing to trade for it or buy it outright.

Let's talk.
