These past couple of days have been very good to me, digging a record 5 in 24 hours! My dad and I got permission for another ancestors farm in PA, and while the yard didn't provide anything, the cornfields did. We had found the site of an old meeting house, turned school, then church, before being bulldozed in the 1970s. There was lots of large cents and horse tack here, and surprisingly not much else. Also found another 1847 Large cent at a different house site on the property. 6 large cents in a week!
The holed 1817 has to be my favorite, and it was the first relic I stumbled over while searching for the meeting house.
